1. "Made in Heaven" by Queen was released after Freddie Mercury's death, so it was a little bitter sweet to listen to it the first time. My husband and I listened to it twice on a quiet Christmas night and we were very moved, especially by one tract called "Mother Love" which has bits of his earlier years and up to his final years in the song/5().

8. The last song Freddie Mercury recorded, "Mother Love" is part of Queen's last album, Made In Heaven, which was released four years after his death. The group's guitarist, Brian May, explained in the Days of our Lives documentary: "Freddie would say 'give me words, I will sing' so there I was writing on scraps of paper these lines of 'Mother Love.' I would give him a line, he would sing it, then sing it again, then .

9. This is the only track on the Made in Heaven album which wasn't reworked by the remaining members of the band during – sessions, but is the original mix prepared for The Miracle. At The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, May played the song on piano and sang it for the first time in public and then released it as part of his solo album Back to the Light.
